Description
FRANCODEX DIATOMACEOUS EARTH is an insecticide composed of fossilised microalgae whose skeletons consist mainly of silica, a mineral resembling tiny glass crystals. When insects and mites, such as ants, cockroaches, fleas, red mites or woodlice, walk through the diatomaceous earth, they become coated with the powder. Direct contact with the cuticle causes rapid desiccation. The insects or mites become dehydrated and die within a few hours. At low temperatures or in increased humidity, the action may take longer, from one to two days. Diatomaceous earth does not cause resistance. Recommended for outdoor use.

Manual
Remove people, animals and foodstuffs from the area to be treated for at least 2 hours after treatment. Shake the aerosol vigorously until the ball bearing comes loose. Spray a thin layer onto the areas to be treated. For optimum effectiveness, spray thoroughly into corners and move closer to the surface if necessary. Once the solvent has evaporated, the spray leaves a film of white powder. The product remains effective for as long as the white powder is present. In the event of rain, once the powder has disappeared, or if parasites are still present, repeat the treatment. After use, hold the aerosol upside down and spray briefly to clear any powder residue from the valve and spray nozzle.
