Description

FRANCODEX DIATOMACEOUS EARTH is composed of fossilised microalgae whose skeletons consist mainly of silica, a mineral resembling tiny glass crystals. When mixed with litter, diatomaceous earth helps keep it dry for longer thanks to its absorbent properties. Recommended for outdoor use.

The powder bottle is made from 100% RECYCLED* and RECYCLABLE materials.

Composition

100% diatomaceous earth (CAS No. 61790-53-2). The diatomaceous earth is non-calcined, food grade. Silica oxide SiO2 concentration of approximately 90% and 1% crystalline silica.

Manual

Keep people, animals, and food away during product application. Diatomaceous earth is drying in nature, so it is recommended to wear gloves during the operation. Spread the powder on the ground, in cracks and crevices. The product is effective as long as the white powder remains. In case of rain or when the powder is gone, repeat the operation. A 450g powder applicator can cover up to 22m² of surface.

Precautions of use

Do not apply on animals. Ingestion of a small amount of powder is harmless to the animal. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid breathing in dust during use. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly and consult a doctor if irritation persists. Read the label before use. In case of consulting a doctor, keep the label handy. Store in a dry place. Dispose of unused products and empty packaging according to local administrative regulations. For example, dispose in an appropriate landfill.
