Description
Without rinsing, the FRANCODEX ECTO CHOC PARASITES spray quickly thwarts infestation by external parasites. It surrounds the parasite with a liquid film, blocking and making it inactive. Its purely mechanical action and plant-based ingredients mean it can be used early on, on the animal and in its environment, leaving a fresh scent after use. Efficacy tested against fleas and ticks on a panel of 30 dogs.
PROVEN EFFICACY - RESULTS OF EFFICACY TESTS
In the Environment: 100% parasite reduction:
- In 5 minutes for fleas
- In 4 hours for tick nymphs
- In 10 minutes for mosquitoes.
On animals: Parasite reduction of
- 100% of fleas in the treated group
- 86% of ticks in the treated group (Only ticks planted around the eyes and in the ears remained, as they were not exposed to the product).
Internal tests carried out during development
Test carried out in vitro by direct spraying on a known number of parasites, followed by regular counts.
Field test on 30 dogs naturally infested with fleas and/or ticks (including 9 untreated dogs in the control group). Parasites were counted before application of the spray all over the body except on the face and ears, then counted again 5, 15 and 30 minutes after application.

Spray the product onto the skin where the parasites are located, from a distance of 20 cm, avoiding the area around the eyes and mucous membranes. ECTO CHOC PARASITES acts by direct contact on crawling and flying parasites. Prevent the animal from licking itself for a few minutes while waiting for the coat to dry, then wipe or brush the animal to remove the parasites. The number of sprays should be adapted to the situation. In the event of massive infestation on the animal, wet the entire body (3 to 6 sprays per kg of weight), depending on the type and length of coat, or use the ECTO CHOC PARASITES DUO atomiser. Wait a week before reapplying if pests are still present.
Precautions of use
For external use only. Not for use on puppies or kittens aged under 4 months. Do not swallow. Do not allow your pet to swallow. Keep out of reach of children. Contains MENTHONE. May produce an allergic reaction. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand.
