Diet

Mice are predominantly vegetarian omnivores. Their ideal diet consists of hay, seeds, fresh fruit and vegetables, a small amount of granules (not more than 1 teaspoon a day), and animal protein “treats” (cheese, yogurt, boiled eggs, meat, etc.). Introduce fresh vegetables gradually to avoid digestive problems. During dietary transition periods, we recommend using Intestinet to support your mouse’s digestive function and gastrointestinal flora.

It is also important for your pet to have unrestricted access to fresh clean water.

Environment

Your mouse’s cage should be positioned in a quiet place, away from draughts. Your pet will need clean bedding, along with hiding places, and objects for climbing and exercising (tubes, platforms, wheels, etc.) and also likes to burrow to hide its food.

Mice can be quite nervous initially, but are generally tamed successfully. You will need to be gentle and patient when taming your mouse. Mice are also sociable pets which enjoy the company of other mice. Opt for two females rather than two males as the latter could fight when fully mature.
